Outfitting a trail rig can add greater strain to the electrical system.
Adding on a winch, air compressor, fog lights, driving lights, a spot light,
electric fuel pump, and a stereo amp can really tax the battery. A great way to
combat that strain is to install dual batteries. This is especially true when
using a winch, which can draw big amps for an extended period. These kits are
designed to mount two batteries in place of the factory single battery location.
The trays and brackets feature a black powder coated finish. These are mounting
kits only and do not include any wiring. For JK Jeeps 2007 and

This relay kit allows you to connect two batteries to your electrical
system to handle the extra strain from adding off road equipment like a winch,
an air compressor, fog lights or even that stereo system. This kit includes
the solenoid, a three position switch, battery cables, jumper cable, wiring
harness and hardware. The three position switch allows you to manage the
batteries through the use of the solenoid. Position one is the factory single
battery mode. Position two uses the main battery, but charges both batteries.
Position three allows both batteries to be used for winches or to crank the
vehicle if the main battery is dead.
